MEMBERSHIP DETAILS AND APPLICATION
Only residents of British Columbia may apply. The Sculptors' Society of British Columbia reviews applications at each general meeting normally held monthly except during summer months. The Society operates with the volunteer efforts of its members and seeks artists who can demonstrate a professional level of artistic work and an interest in contributing to the Society.

Curriculum vitae (bio) listing exhibitions, commissions, awards/scholarships, collections, etc.

Artists Statement regarding your work and goals, including a statement as to what you expect to obtain and attain as a member of SSBC.

Colour photographs on quality paper or digital photographs so that all areas are clearly defined of 10 recent works with two views of each sculpture (for a total of 20 photographs).

Describe each sculpture by title, medium, dimensions and year created.

Enclose a self-addressed, stamped envelope for return of your submission materials.

Enclose your cheque payable to the Sculptors' Society of BC for the fee applicable to the membership category you are applying for:
Sculptor Member: (fee $60.00 annually). Sculptors approved by a vote of a majority of members in good standing of the Society at a general meeting. Sculptor Members are entitled to vote at meetings of the Society. (Works for exhibits are not juried when held by the Society. Where we submit to accredited galleries that host our exhibits, we are often required to have our works juried by those entities).
Associate Member: (fee $40.00 annually). Associate members need not be sculptors but be interested in sculpture and the arts and are welcome to join. They are approved by the majority of members in good standing at a general meeting. Associate Members are entitled to participate in but not vote at meetings of the Society. An Associate Member may become a Board Director. Associate Members are invited to submit works for exhibitions juried by Sculptor Members of the Society, and decided by a majority vote.
